^Yeah; there was! I mentioned episodes in my last post on the subject because when has a movie had episodes, right The movies followed loosely along the lines of the original series.

Anyways; it was great; but because I was only like 5, 6, 7 years old and living in Europe at the time (my dad was in the military); I only saw it briefly. In that briefness; cause I was so little, I can't remember if I saw full episodes or only fragments cause as we know as children; we didn't understand many things growing up. As such; I only have a faint memory of the original. Watching this version is helping me recapture and see a newer version of what I possibly saw as a kid.

^Not that I saw!

In the original! Mccall published a weekly classified newspaper ad saying he could help, with number to call. I never thought of it growing up; but now that I think about it with the new series; I think a classified ad was the internet of the day 20 and 30 years ago. Now; classifieds are becoming a relic; but I hope its not the same for newspapers in general. We still need them even with them being published online.

I did watch the original.

I can't choose 1 episode over another. I liked them all.

Do you see any other differences between the two series?

In the pilot episode; the scene between Robyn and Delilah in the car at the centre brought back a memory on me. So I have to ask; was there a similar scene in the original with Mccall and his son, but maybe under a different circumstance for the son? It might've been in its pilot or a later episode if there was one.

I think it was a later episode. I remember that William Zabka from The Karate Kid played his son.

^So there was an episode with a scene similar to that? I must've seen it then and since I was a kid; I couldn't understand what they were doing at the time.

Thanks!

You're welcome.

The difference was that his son knew that he was The Equalizer and asked him to help people where the daughter just found out.
