They said that they are going to start delving into Jace's mind in season 2. It's going to be interesting to see what makes him tick.

I love the scenes where he breaks down. No matter how sad it makes me, Dom just pulls them off so freaking well.

For sure, in the books he kept his feelings pretty locked in. The show was so much more emotional. Dom could not have pulled it off any better.
