Matthew Modine has reportedly been added to the ''Dark Knight Rises'' cast, who is expected to play the role of a villain. Are you excited about him potentially in this film? I've only seen him in ''Any Given Sunday'', ''Pacific Heights'', & ''Full Metal Jacket'', but enjoyed each of those movies.

Here's some news from metro.co.uk

The Dark Knight Rises production to head to Glasgow

The Scottish City will be transformed into Gotham City, according to the Daily Record.

Director Christopher Nolan will use shots filmed around Glasgow in some exterior scenes in the third Batman adventure.

A source told the paper 'He plans to use various cities to provide a mash-up of what Gotham will look like.

'Glasgow was location-scouted for the last film Dark Knight, though in the end it wasn't used. This time, Chris already has several scenes in mind. The city center architecture is hugely impressive, but he will be filming in secret.'

Shooting has already taken place in London and Croydon with production in Glasgow due to start this month.

Christian Bale reprises his role as the Caped Crusader in The Dark Knight Rises, which also stars Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.

Matthew Modine is also set to join the cast as villain Nixon.

Yes. Poison Ivy is my favorite. I loved Uma Thurman as her in ''Batman & Robin''. There is some other big news this week about Batman & that's that DC Comics is going to restart many of their titles starting on September & Batman is going to be 1 of them. They are also going to be ''retooling'' them, so changes are expected to be made.

Ooh thats cool.

I loved Batman and Robin. I know not everyone did, but that was the first and only one I saw at the movies. I think it was because of Alicia Silverstone. I loved her as a teenager and saw it because of her.

Posion Ivy was also awesome. Uma did very good with that role.

I saw ''Batman Returns'' in theaters as a child & later '' & ''Batman Begins''. Both of them were very good. Love the Penguin in ''Batman Returns''. So sad what his parents did to him.

Yeah. Danny Devito was great as him. Who was your favorite character in ''The Dark Knight''?.

Hm.. I personally felt that movie was overrated. Not to say it wasn't good, but it was hyped up way too much. (Although, given it be Heath's final performance I could understand why.)
I'm not sure if I have a favourite. I have only seen it once, and can't really remember everything that went on.

Add me!! I love both films! Can't wait for more!!

And I must say, when Gordon showed up alive in the middle of the second movie, I jumped up and down and cheered! LOVE Gordon! Nearly had a heart attack when we thought he was dead!!
