2 new female characters and a female villain? That's interesting...I think this will be the first time that the main villain will be a female in a JJ ST movie. And while we are on the subject of female characters, I hope we will get more backstory for Uhura in the next movie, we have seen her in 3 movies already but we still hardly know anything about her character's background, it's about time she finally gets some much needed character development. It really annoys me that all the other main male characters already have some development but Uhura is still sidelined
 even the newer one-time female characters Carol and Jaylah have both had a lot of screentime and character development in Into Darkness and Beyond respectively, but our main female character Uhura who has been in all 3 movies so far hardly had any backstory...it's like the ST writers don't like Uhura or something, she's very under-used in the movies and that really frustrates me since Uhura is one of my fav characters in the movies  Thanks for the news Last edited by LindaL100; 07-17-2018 at 07:14 AM |
