Here in Brazil we don't celebrate Halloween But this year I'll be at Disneyworld, so for the first time, yeah I'm celebrating it

I'm not doing anything in particular. I'll get some candy, but like 2 kids come to my door every year.

We also don't celebrate Halloween here. Sure there are parties and trick or treats in some places but it's not done everywhere. Some high end villages here have it but most of trick or treating is done at malls.

Si, enjoy Disneyworld! It's gonna be fun! I remember going many years ago and never felt tired walking around.

Pia, ah so there are still kids going around and I expect that will happen again now that the pandemic is in control.

Trick or treating was canceled in 2020. Weirdly enough, I think it was because of the weather rather than the pandemic. I think it snowed that day.

I've been to Disneyworld in Florida. It was great.

Some people do trick or treating here but I don't do anything.

Pia, it was already snowing there in October?

Julie, over here we commemorate Nov. 2 more, which in a Catholic country is All Souls Day so we visit dead loved ones on this day. It starts on the 31st up to 2nd so we have a long holiday those days (if it falls on a weekday).

Happy weekend! I'll be having a lazy weekend ahead so I've got no plans.

I will be watching F1 and Alpine skiing this weekend. It's very windy at the moment so I don't know if I can visit my allotment this weekend. If not, I will stay in and be comfy.

Yes, it was a bit unusual to get that amount of snow in October. But it was 2020. I felt bad for the kids that year. If we get snow then, it's usually a few flakes, which happened this week.

I have a feeling I'm in for another lazy weekend.
