Yup, obnoxious. In a way, I'm thankful that they experienced fighting the WWs (with Jon) and realized that while they both have different means and ways, they all have a common goal which is to defeat the WWs/NK.

At least they did get to do that in S8 even though the whole time I was worried Tormund was gonna die.

Come to think of it, S8 didn't have (for me) an emotional death except for Theon & Jorah. The others who died deserved it or was expected. Both Theon & Jorah for me were expected deaths too. I just knew that a lot of them would die in S8 so I'm very surprised that some of them managed to be alive.

yeah season 8 was a let down... not really an epic death, even Jon killing Daenerys was anticlimactic
 Just like Lindsay said, Theon and Joran had good deaths, but not surprising. I was expecting a whole lot more people to die and at least one more Stark __________________

Yup same. If Arya didn't come, maybe Jon would kill the NK but Bran would still die.
