FF is one of the healthier internet habits I have. :) If anything I should post on it more often instead of lurking in other places and reading comments sections.

Social media is toxic really. Sometimes I waste hours reading negative comments just for the sake of it. Not really good for my mental health.

Ohh tell me about it! I took some time away from twitter a few years ago because it was way too toxic. And the thing about reading negative comments is really addictive

Thank goodness that you can now mute or block someone there so that helped me control what I see on my timeline.

Exactly. Which is why I detox. Blocking and muting is good too. But there have been sites where I did so much of that, and it made me realize it wasn't the place for me.

That's why I'm glad Kit isn't on social media. He's really better off without it.

Sulieter 03-06-2021 01:52 PM

I spend a lot of time reading comments too. It's quite addictive. :D

It is good that Kit isn't on social media, especially as famous people can be judged very harshly by what they tweet.

wanderer78 03-06-2021 04:25 PM

Yes, a lot people live their lives online. I'm sure Kit is online and possibly has social media, just not publicly. In the long run it'll be good for him to stay offline publicly.

Good to know I'm not alone in finding comments reading to be addictive.

Yeah I read the negative stuff just so I know. But I don't pick fights online. People tend to be more argumentative when there's anonymity. I read a looooot of Jon (or Kit) hate tweets on the internet, like I searched for it.

As to the bolded part, there's that old saying: "Would you rather be happy or right?" I try to take that to heart.

I've never run into major Kit hate, thankfully. I also do very little Twitter, which is probably why. Even with stuff I do hate, I don't have the energy to talk about it all the time.

L i N d $ @ y 03-07-2021 08:42 PM

Oh, I love that question.

Same. I hate a lot of stuff and TV shows that have boards here on FF but I don't go around random threads that I post on and tell people I hate this show or I hate this character! I keep it to myself and only react when someone else also hates the things I hate. Also there's bound to be people who will hate Jon (or Kit), that's just the way life is. That's why I don't get this stan obsession I see on social media. Like some people think their favorites can do no wrong.

Sulieter 03-08-2021 11:21 AM

I don't pick fights online either. If I have something to say, I try to say it very tactfully and I don't answer the weird stuff. :D

L i N d $ @ y 03-09-2021 08:03 PM

Sometimes it's tiresome arguing over stuff that you won't agree upon and I see no point in the back and forth so I just ignore and move on.

I need new pics of Kit with fans. :sigh:

Si_Crazy 03-12-2021 05:20 PM

I'm with you girls about avoiding getting into fights, specially online... it seems so counterproductive

I really would love to see new pics of Kit with fan :sigh:

I saw a fan pic posted on twitter a few days ago but now I can't find it. It was an old one of course but the fan only recently posted it.
