The CW announced their fall 2019 schedule. Batwoman will be Sundays, before Supergirl (which shift to 9 pm, EST).

^ Interesting. I think it's a good placement. It'd be a nice contrast and lead in to Supergirl. Thanks for the link!

Yeah, it makes sense to keep the DC ladies together on the same night.

this might be the biggest NEWS of the year for TV viewers who love DC

Arrowverse's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' 5-Part Crossover Will Include Legends and Span Midseason Break
By Matt Webb Mitovich / May 16 2019, 12:26 PM PDT
~ TVLine

The Legends of Tomorrow might not return with Season 5 until the year 2020, but they will be a part of the Arrowverse’s next crossover.
The CW president Mark Pedowitz announced on Thursday at the network’s Upfront presentation that the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” team-up event will be told in five parts over two quarters — meaning, it will start in December and then conclude early in the new year, following the midseason break.

TVLine has since confirmed with sources that the five shows taking part in the crossover will be Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman (which premieres this fall) and Legends. Three of the five parts will air in December, and the other two — including an episode of Legends, which this year premieres at midseason — will follow in early 2020. (It is unclear at this time what the second show airing its crossover episode in the new year will be.)

Arrow and The Flash with their season finales this past week each planted massive Easter eggs related to the crossover. The Monitor from the “Elseworlds” crossover showed up on Arrow to collect on the deal he made with Oliver, pulling him away from wife/new mom Felicity for a mysterious mission. The Flash’s finale-ending tag, meanwhile, showed that the ominous “crisis” in which Barry is destined to vanish has been moved up from 2024 to 2019, due to a time flux.

And the teases aren’t done coming. Sources tell TVLine that Supergirl’s own season finale, airing this Sunday at 8/7c, will drop its own clue about the crossover, and it’s one viewers won’t want to miss. (What do you it will be??)
“Crisis on Infinite Earths” will be “the biggest and most complicated [crossover yet],” The CW’s Pedowitz previously avowed. “I can’t tell you if it’ll follow the comic book version, but it’ll take some big swings.”

“It is ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths,’” he added, “and if you know the history, things collapse.”

^ That is explosive.:thud: I was wondering it it would be a 5-part crossover because of Batwoman and it seems I was correct in thinking that.

Thanks for the update.

Didn't see a Catwoman thread in the thread guide here, but here is potentially some big news if this does come to be:

Should Kristen Stewart play Catwoman if Rob Pattinson plays Batman?

Robert Pattinson broke the internet on Friday after news surfaced that the English actor is in talks to star in Matt Reeves' upcoming Batman movie.

While many DC fans have already warmed up to the idea of the 33-year-old actor, model and musician taking on the role of "The Dark Knight," some thought it would be a good reason for a Twilight cast reunion.

Weighing on Pattinson's impending new role, Twitter user @ScaredIntoAlice "dared" producers to cast his former co-star and ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart as Catwoman: "Cool, now cast Kristen Stewart as Catwoman, you cowards. #Batman (sic)".

The proposal was met with a mixed reaction as some revealed that they thought same thing, and others thought that she's not a "good fit" for role. One even suggested that the 29-year-old actress, who came out as bi-sexual in 2017, should play Robin "because this Robin has gender fluidity".

Stewart and Pattinson were a fan favourite among Twihard fans but went through a messy split in 2013 after Stewart cheated on him with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders - a relationship that transpired when she starred in the 2012 film.

If the deal is sealed, Pattinson will become the youngest actor to ever play Batman on the big screen following a number of huge stars who took on the iconic part. Meanwhile, if Stewart were to be cast as Catwoman, she would be the first to take on the role on the big screen since Halle Berry's portrayal in the 2004 character title film. Although, there have been rumours that "Gotham" actress Selina Kyle made a cameo appearance in the 2017 film, "Justice League".

Who would you choose: Stewart or Kyle?

OK. First I feel it's odd to call someone a ''coward'' for not casting an actor for a role that people want him or her to have. If I'm wrong about this then OK. Neither of Pattinson or Stewart would be my top picks to play the roles of ''Batman'' & ''Catwoman''. I actually didn't mind Ben Affleck as ''Batman/Bruce Wayne''.

I hope they're really planning to go all out with the crossover. That event deserves it.

Personally, I wouldn't want Kristen as Catwoman, but I don't think they'd pair them together after Twilight, to be honest.

Thanks for the news. :flowers:

I haven't even seen a full ''Twilight'' movie & haven't followed their careers, so unsure what you mean exactly, unless you thought the films were so bad that they were in together that you don't want to see them in another 1 I suppose.

canthaveyou 05-23-2019 07:18 AM

What I meant was that Twilight might have been a huge phenomenon, but there was huge criticism about their acting and the type of story it was, then Kristen cheated on Rob publicly and it was all up in the press... It just makes me think that the people hiring for the roles wouldn't want them to be paired together in a movie again.
