I still prefer the Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider films, but the new one was good too IMO.

There is, but it was delayed due to covid, they wanted to start filming this april, but will likely start filming next year and it coming out in 2022.

Someone on the movies board posted it was delayed indefinitely. Isn't that another way of saying it's cancelled permanently? If not, then they claimed they were doing a sequel but I'm confused about its fate after hearing that here.

You're talking about tomb raider too right? Well I recently read that alicia vikander is thinking they will start filming early next year.

Well it appears what I read was from a few months ago and the latest news are that it has been delayed indefinitely, so I don't know.

Guess we'll see. I was always surprised they greenlit a sequel cause the first movie didn't make that much money, but I hope it still happens.
