No that was the studio cut, the director had very little to do with it.

Yeah, that was the studio cut. From what I remember hearing about the original cut was the Joker being the main villain (not Enchantress) and they showed the more abusive side to he and Harley's relationship. In the studio cut they pretty much cut out all of Joker's scenes (and from the little they showed, he seemed to be a little more "loving" towards Harley) and made that belly dancing chick the villain instead. I think that was a dumb decision, I don't get how you don't have the infamous Joker be the villain, especially when your finally debuting Harley freaking Quinn.

Yeah that all was so annoying tbh. I found enchantress not a very interesting villain after all.
