maybe seeing Lois reunited with her Clark, will help soothe Diana's long century of loss and emotional pain from the death of Steve. sometimes it takes seeing a friend's joy to right your own emotional ship.

I feel like that scene did happen in BvS. Where they specifically focused on Diana when Lois was mourning over losing Clark.

I totally felt like Diana was thinking of Steve there.
