^^ I never got into those Superman's. Sadly.

I think it was just because Burton had that darker feel.

For some reason when I was a kid, there were so many sequels I saw before seeing the first film years later (I guess I just didn't care at the time) and one of them was Batman Returns. I watched that film nonstop when I was a kid (and all the crazy ass violent adult stuff went over my head lol) I didn't see the first Batman until many years later. Batman Returns and Batman TAS were the things that got me into Batman. I never really got into Superman either (First Superman film I saw was Man of Steel) I didn't see the CR Superman films until a few years ago. I did enjoy them, but I was always into Batman more than Superman.

^^ I was never into animated Superhero shows/movies. Not really sure why TBH, they just never grabbed my attention the same way live action does.

There was an x-men animated series?

I also watched she-ra but i much preferred the modern show over the old show, that was too childish imo.

OMG! You've never heard of X Men TAS? That's so crazy! lol. Never seen the amazing opening to the show?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAkL2-vh2Sk

It came on in 1992 and had five seasons. Next year they will continue the series in X Men 97' with ten episodes I heard. If you like X Men you have got to see it! I highly recommend this show, it's so faithful to The X Men and the comics. I'm just shocked you've never heard of it. Watch it now!!! lol.

^ I think if something is not 'mainstream' it's harder to take notice of it.

Oh ok, well I liked the x-men movies with hugh jackman. But i never read the x-men comics tbh. Or any marvel comics. I think except sipderman they were quite unknown over here as opposed to dc comics.

The opening certainly looks cool.

It's a very popular and well known show, it's always gotten a lot of praise since the 90's. Yeah, the opening to the show is one of my favorite TV show openings of all time. It still gets me hyped every time I see it!

I think here it's not very mainstream tbh. Batman TAS and Superman TAS were more popular.

Maybe for the fandom it's popular but when I say Mainstream I mean more, Monday night is TV night for "The Good Doctor", Tuesday is this show etc.

I'd never heard of the animated series advertised in that regard so it wasn't an advertisement I'd have seen to take notice.
