You're welcome, I noticed a new sneak peek so I thought it was time!

I am curious why Serena is lying on the ground like that!!

wickedrum 06-13-2017 06:08 AM

I'm guessing she found out about the loads of cheating?

heartღaflutter 06-13-2017 06:17 AM

I think so yes though my eyes are really focused on what's on the ground in front of her as well :P

Awesome. Can't wait to hear your and everybody's thoughts.

It was a strong finale imo. Though I personally could have done without the scene with the handmaids walking down the street in what looked like it was supposed to be an empowering moment. They've done this once before in an earlier ep (I forgot which one) and I wasn't feeling it then either. It's those kinds of moments where the show feels like a Hollywood movie to me. It's just a bit too forced and unnecessary imo.

I did love seeing Handmaids refuse to stone Janine. Especially the new Ofglen being the first to refuse. The little childish quarrel between her and June before was also cute (for the lack of a better word).

Also loved the mentions of the resistance among the Marthas. Curious what Rita is going to do with the letters.

For a second I rejoiced in Warren's wife turning Gilead's sick ideology against him, but that ended when they actually amputated his arms. He had it coming for his role in designing that world of cruel punishments, but still.

I still can't bring myself to feel sorry for Serena (except in her scenes with the Commander, who is treating her horribly), but Yvonne is so fantastic in the role and the character is so complicated and interesting though not very likeable.

Loved all the Moira scenes. Samira's as great with vulnerable, broken Moira as she is with the rebellious, resilient Moira. And I have to admit I almost teared up when she was reunited with Luke.
