13 Reasons Why - Board Customization

Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Sorry, going to jump in here straight away

I know nothing about the show but looking at wikipedia these are listed as the main characters. Would you want all of them? (Keep in mind that the more characters in the banner the smaller the faces will be)

My next questions is if there are any promotional pictures or good quality episode stills that we can use? All I could find were these which wouldn't give you very many of the characters or these posters which all have writing over them so don't really feel they're usable. You wouldn't be able to read the text so they'd just be faces with white lines on them. Then there is also this which I presume is Clay & Hannah but again not sure how usable it is. If there are limited usable pictures that may change who can be included in the graphic as well

I'm not sure how good the quality is on all the pics, but there's always some pics on the IMDb here.

Also I agree about taking those characters off.. especially if we're gonna narrow it down.

I'm glad to see there are more than what I found. Interesting that there seems to be a few photoshoots of Hannah

Hopefully there are for the others too. If someone could go through & find at least one picture for each character & specifically say who is who that'd be really helpful for those of us who aren't familiar with the show

I haven't seen any photoshoot pics for any of the other characters, which is odd. These pics aren't ones that we're gonna use necessarily, but just to point out who is who in the show...

I did see some pics like those posters you linked Chelle, with the words over their face, except they didn't have the words, so they would've been usable. The only problem is the quality that I saw. If there's no other photoshoots for the characters we can just use stills
