Great idea for a thread.

From the banner (thanks Paula!), I haven't seen The Tudors. And most of those movies too.

Has anyone seen Death Comes to Pemberley, The Bletchley Circle and Lark Rise to Candleford? I loved those.

Here's another (old) list of period dramas worth watching: http://www.vulture.com/2016/10/briti...logically.html

It's another Claire Foy period drama show.

I need to watch this. The only other Claire thing I've seen is Wolf Hall. Hey, that's another period drama, come to think of it. :D

I had to Google the show. It's set in 1910 so it falls in this genre.

I think every show and every movie that's a period drama could/should be included in the list in the OP, I'm just a bit lost now on all titles, but I'm working on it :D

Awesome Nerds 03-02-2017 09:34 AM

There are still so many I need to see... We should have watches!

girl under the floor 03-02-2017 09:42 AM

We should! :yay:
There are a lot I haven't seen yet
Especially Jane Austen's apparently :look:

ina_am 03-02-2017 10:39 AM

Let's make group watches :D :yay:

Lindsay, I haven't seen Wolf Hall yet. Is she playing as Ann Boleyn in this one?
Little Dorrit is the cutest

girl under the floor 03-02-2017 10:43 AM

I would LOVE group watches! :yay:

ina_am 03-02-2017 11:12 AM

It's a deal then :D :woot:

Awesome Nerds 03-02-2017 11:47 AM

So long as there's ample time for people to track down whatever we're watching :lmao:

girl under the floor 03-02-2017 11:58 AM

How 'bout a general rewatch thread?
On some boards I've seen general rewatch threads
Where the planning of the what and when takes place and then when you actual watch you go post in the thread that's related :)

Hi to everyone, I've popped over from Michelle's thread, and thanks for the invite and link Lindsay, I've seen those drama's you mentioned too, I loved Lark Rise to Candleford, and Cranford was another good one, which featured Michelle in an early role of course.

I've got Little Dorrit on dvd, as well as being a Claire Foy fan, there's the dreamy Matthew Macfadyen in it too, couldn't resist. ;)
