loved this ep!

Anne is so sassy she's awesome

Philip's mother seemed so fun when she was saying "what?" to everythingtil it turned out she's been deaf since birth it was nice hearing about her story and then Philip reconnecting with her

Another great ep! I love Princess Anne! Also that scene with Princess Anne & PP talking in Prince Philip's office, I noticed that Erin & Tobias look so much alike. Damn. I want more of Princess Anne, she's already my new favorite this season.

I didn't know PP's mom is a nun in Greece. And LOL at Philip with the docu. It reminded me of the coronation thing in S2 which he supervised and had it televised. I was laughing at how cringe worthy and how "dreadful" and "banal" it was. Also I didn't know Colin Morgan was a guest on this show and played John Armstrong. I also liked how Philip & his mom resolved everything in the end. They might have not had the best relationship but they are still family at the end of the day. It was actually really nice of QE to let his mom stay there because PP really didn't want anything to do with his mother.

Prince Philip 's mother was well portrayed. Yes she struggled with mental health but she's also a hero. She protected jews when she was living in Nazi-occupied Greece during the war.

It was sad his relationship with her was like that though.

I'm glad they resolved it in the end. I was bracing for a row when PP went to her room but he apologized and thanked her instead.

The mother/son moment in the end was amazing! Loved that!

Also I love his mom, I hadn't heard a thing about her before so it was nice to see this story unfold!
I love Anne too!

I also loved that she bonded a bit with Anne. I'm sure her other grandma isn't as fun and she could talk to Alice more freely about things

I really was worried for Princess Alice as she seemed to be just left on her own in her room! I was so glad she was bonding with Anne eventually.

I'm glad she wasn't left there and that Anne dropped by
Who know that after that disastrous TV showing Princess Alice would save the day

That was a surprise. It seemed like the interview would be seen unfavourably.

It was definitely nice to see Anne bond with Alice. She does seem to appear closer to her at least than with the Queen Mother who we don't really see a lot of this season.

Too bad that docu will never be seen again. I would've loved to watch that now.
