:thud: It's here!!!

just saying how excited to see John Lithgow in the credits!!

Just watched it!

I loved how they introduced the new actors. It was nice to see John Lithgow as well.

I'm so excited to see more of the episodes. It's just as good as ever.

JoJoF92 11-17-2019 08:35 AM

it was emotional to see him one last time:sigh:

Great ep! I didn't know about that British spy so I was shocked. That was embarrassing for the government and the royal family because he worked closely with Queen Elizabeth.

It was indeed great seeing Churchill and I'm glad the show was able to give us his funeral. He really had a special relationship with QE and so far, out of all the PMs, he's the one that was really a standout.

I had no clue about the British spy either and in some way it was nice how it even included the events of late S2 when Philip was involved with that chiropractor.

man John Lithgow was amazing!! It was amazing to see him again in this role even if it were for 1 scene!!
But I loved seeing him share the screen with Olivia

In all honesty this was the ep (having seen 4 so far) where I had to adjust to the new characters a little but all in all it was a great ep to start off with
IMO it set up the relationships as they currently are

it's hard to go into details when you go through 4 eps in a day

Yeah that's what I hate about binge watching. You go through the eps right away and forget them and I only recall because of the episode title.

Oh yeah, good you mentioned about the chiropractor. That would be a scandal of epic proportions.

heartღaflutter 11-19-2019 01:32 PM

a bit of blackmail though

JoJoF92 11-20-2019 07:20 AM

that was very nasty of the guy to bring that up:rant:

Amazingly though, that man finished his term right? And then quietly retired? I think the monarchy & British government was able to contain the scandal.

heartღaflutter 11-22-2019 10:26 AM

that is amazing yes!!

Good episode didn't know about the spy so intresting to see the twist and how the royal family had to do and it was a emotional scene with the queen and churchill

Yeah I'm glad we had a chance to see Churchill again in this ep even if it's only a brief scene.
