Perhaps one day. Although I'm sure if I had the chance to meet her I'd just stutter and smile nervously.

hedawanheda 01-24-2017 09:31 AM

If it's any consolation, I was very much the same! But she is so welcoming and talks to you like you're a friend. It'll happen, trust me.

Still rooting for Eliza to attend ClexaCon. That'd be an amazing event.

Milk-tea 01-24-2017 09:45 AM

I'm sure she's just as amazing in real life as she is from what we see of her.

Clexacon? I've never heard of it. But that'd be awesome for her to attend.

hedawanheda 01-24-2017 06:29 PM

Yep, it's a convention named after Clarke and Lexa in respect to their relationship, as well as them being the inspiration for many fans pushing for positive rep. To quote their site it's "A Media & Entertainment Convention for LGBTQ Women and Allies," held March 3-5 in Las Vegas. Eliza apparently let it slip at Unity Days that she will possibly be there.

ClexaCon

Milk-tea 01-24-2017 07:50 PM

Ohh neat! Lee yelled at me earlier with "How have I heard of Clexacon and you haven't?!?!".
:lmao: I don't pay attention to a lot of things.

and i love annaliese and eve. seriously

:fist_bump: They're the best ship on the show IMO, next to Connor/Oliver. The show has great LGBT representation TBH. :) Though I did read that they ruined CO in the latest season.

I really love how open Eliza has been about LGBT issues so far.

Milk-tea 01-25-2017 02:37 PM

*is lost* What show are we talking about?

hedawanheda 01-25-2017 03:31 PM

I think they're talking about How to Get Away with Murder? (Correct me if I'm wrong. :P) I feel like I remember this Connor character. Never knew about Annalise. So much has changed since the *few* eps I saw. Maybe I need to watch it.

Milk-tea 01-25-2017 03:34 PM

Ooh yeaaa. I watched a few episodes of that but stopped.

hedawanheda 01-25-2017 03:48 PM

I got pretty lost.

I've just seen on the news that the movie Moonlight you guys were talking about here has been released today. Might have to check that out sometime as well. :)

Milk-tea 01-26-2017 06:11 AM

If you're wanting to watch a good LGBT movie I suggest The 10 Year Plan. It's on Netflix and it is so good!

It's about two guy best friends that agree that if in 10 years they're both still single that they would be a couple. It's so cute. :melt:

I think ClexaCon was supposed to be just a meeting for Clexa fans in the early stages and the name stayed.

Yes, we were talking about HTGAWM. It was revealed that Annalise is bisexual later on in the series. We knew Connor was gay since the beginning, his boyfriend Oliver was only a supporting character in the first two seasons but is now a series regular. So the show has three main LGBT characters two of whom are POC.

Oh yes, do it, do it! It's such a beautiful and touching story.

I finally found out that Moonlight is playing at one of the smaller cinemas here. I'm going to try and see it this weekend if possible. :)

Milk-tea 01-27-2017 03:23 PM

I guess I'll have to jump on the bandwagon and watch moonlight too.

destroyer of worlds 01-28-2017 08:13 AM

It's great that you guys get to watch Moonlight soon. :yay: I've been seeing a lot of it on Tumblr and I'm intrigued (plus, it comes highly recommended by Paulina :D) ... just need to find out where I can watch it first.
