Good point. Like, they couldn't have been there for Scott because that hadn't happened yet and Derek wasn't that an amazing of an alpha that he would've posed a threat or been someone they wanted really bad. The Kanima however, that's something unique and interesting an very useful.

Like halfway through the season, Duke switches and goes for Scott. There is NO EXPLANATION FOR ANY OF IT! Not for Derek or Scott. MOTIVES?!?!?!! PLEASE HAVE ONE!
