This episode also bored me. Until the very end when it picked up. I did like seeing the gang together and them trying to get to the underworld.

Poor Eddie.

Who cares about Eden and this drug guy like, wtf, why is this show wasting time on random characters????

I hope I am not the only one super disappointed with season 4... I mean, this is how I see it:
-Hopper is locked away the ENTIRE season, Joyce's entire storyline is just trying to get him back. It should have taken 3 episodes only.
-El's storyline consisted of her getting bullied, and now shes once again stuck away from the group. Likewise Mikes storyline consisted of him coming to see El, and then escaping from Cali... thats was about it so far, Will has even less,just him pining for Mike.
-Jonathans storyline consisted of him being a druggy. Thats it? ZERO interactions with Nancy too this season.
-Erica has been in 2 scenes I think. Robin is only really there for comic relief and we dont get any progression on her romantic SL.
-Dustin and Lucas have been a part of the main storyline but somehow still feel like they are barely there.
-They've introduced a bunch of random characters that really serve no purpose.

Max had a decent storyline last episode but it went nowhere because she survived. Steve has gotten decent interactions and focus but still hasn't really done anything that cool.

Nancy has by far gotten the best storylinet his season but now they are pushign this nancy/steve thing again..why???

Im just sad because we are missing out on some very important/key relationships. I sincerely hope episodes 8/9 and season 5 make up for this BS.

The one thing about this episode that just irked me was... why would you let Steve go in the lake by himself? All this crazy scary stuff has been happening recently and I figure not going alone is the smart option.
Like what if something happened to him while he was down there?? Which something did happen, even if it wasn't until he went up to the surface.

Otherwise this episode was interesting. So the other "kids" were basically bullying Eleven back then too? Always picking on her and saying she's weak.

I do agree this season kinda fell short. there was some scenes I enjoyed but they took too long to get to those.

I really liked this season , ok not the best but I did enjoy it .

I do agree with the rand9m characters serving no purpose but one thing I liked was once they started figuring out the issues and coming together..

Didn't like

Certain episodes didn't have El , or Mike and the gang they just weren't there for the final like we don't k ow what happen to them ??

The Russian storyline did take a long time I guess they wanted a big reuion with Joyce/Hop?? Saying that I loved Murray and his karate

I hate hate the Nancy/Steve romance what the hell is that ? Why are we thinking that they love each other again ??

Honestly I don't mind Nancy/Steve how they are now. But I also really liked Jonathan (but he doesn't need to do this weed stuff) so I dunno.. she just needs to figure out who she truly wants to be with and don't be switching back and forth.
I mean but back then Steve was a jerk and I didn't like him with Nancy, but he's grown and he's become a better person.

Ohhh. I figured you guys were basically implying that Nancy is better than Steve.

Will/Mike/Jonathan were really given the shaft this season!

Im just praying they will get to Hawkins in ep 8 finally and then in 9 the whole gang can work together.

I dont get why they are doing this either? My first thought was that they just want ~drama for Jancy to give them distance and then bring them back together in 5,but throwing Steve back into the mix is worisome and givig them all these interactions, it seems obvious to me when Jancy meet again they will break up and then shes just gonna end up with Steve, which I think is super dumb!

Its not like the actors broke up so I really dont get what the purpose is there?
