About Gaten
Gaten Matarazzo was born on September 8, 2002 in New Jersey, USA. He is an actor, known for Stranger Things (2016), The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards (2016) and The Blacklist (2013).

His mother is named Heather, but she is not actress Heather Matarazzo.

Suffers from "Cleidocranial Dysplasia," a rare genetic disorder that rendered him born without collar bones, adversely affecting his facial, skull and teeth development. According to Gaten, his case is mild and non-genetic, thus an extremely rare affliction for him considering that the condition is typically passed down through the genes. In the pilot episode of Stranger Things (2016), Dustin (Gaten) actually explains his condition to a school bully who mocks him about his teeth.
