I really, truly hope we get Jonathan/El interaction in Season 4

I loved how protective he was of her in 3x08 when he tries to heal her leg.

I just re-watched the Pilot and wow, Benny would've been an awesome father figure to her

He's literally the first person to make her feel safe and at home. He's also completely underrated because for obvious reasons, audiences only really remember Hopper taking care of her.
