Do you mean the same people on CEGF that were in the first season? Yes. But they don't have any overlap with JTV...if that's what you mean. Although I do think the actress who plays Petra is going to guest star on it this season.

But that story is just another way S2 of JTV was aimless. What was the point of having the house damaged? What was the point of bringing abuela and Xio into the hotel? They never interacted with Rafael. There never ended up being a plot reason for it.

Yeah, it wasn't why they where there that confused me, it was what the whole point of the storyline was. If it was meant to lead to more interaction between Jane and Rafael or to set up a certain scenario then I would have understood but it didn't lead to anything. Was it just for the quirkiness of Jane being married on a film set?? It was just another pointless lotline, of wich there were many in season 2.

Yep, on screen it came across as super tacky. And it was bad writing as Lethally Floral pointed out.

It was tacky. And I still can't work out how it benefitted the story in anyway. What did it really affect?
