I really love the whole speech of Kevin's about life/death.. It was beautiful, but tender on the way he describing his paints.. Sigh..
And what's up w/ that ending.. Is he gone?!?! I don't mean Jack.. __________________

So wait, William passed away? I didn't get that either. That would be so sad
I've loved every episode so far, but this one. This one is the one I want to watch again right away. Gosh I LOVED this episode. Everything about it was just perfect! Kevin being so insecure and William having that great talk with him. And at the beginning where Kevin was just so oblivious towards Randall and Beth Randall saying they'd take the hotel My first response to Beth saying she's late was one of "gosh no.", but as the episode progressed I wanted her to be pregnant and was actually disappointed that the test was negative. Now, I'm sorry. But I don't think I'll end up liking Toby. I warmed up to him a bit last episode. But this episode again I was just not impressed. And it's maybe nothing rational, it's not even the acting. It's not the fact that he was wrong. I just don't like the character that much And I thought Kate was weird in her "explanation". Why couldn't she just go straight out and say that she wanted to watch the game alone and then keep to it. The way it was dragged out clearly felt like a plot point they didn't want to give up right away instead of something she had trouble with explaining. It's the only issue I had with the episode. I loved all the flashbacks! I'm not the biggest flashbacks fan, at all, but this show really does a great job with them. I loved seeing more of Jack & Rebecca and the way you saw parts of their childhoods Loved, absolutely loved the episode __________________

Just watched it! And Gosh this was an emotional one. Kevin (I didn't expect it!) since he is my least favorite in the big 3, made me cry in this painting. It was so sad and at the same time, true. We all have theories in life like where are going to end up after and it's really hard to explain.
I love love how they execute flashbacks. Especially Jack/Rebecca's. I love that she doesnt want to be stereotyped as a housewife, I love that she's standing up as woman (in that era! that was brave) and I love that Jack taught her about football and it became a Pearson family thing. Obviously in this episode, we can see that Kate is closest to her father. It makes emotional that she wants to watch football with her dad, even if its just an urn. And I,too, does not like Toby. I dont like pushy people. And did William really died? __________________

Loved last night's episode! It was emotional more then ever and I could see how Jack and Rebecca's storyline in the past linked with the present. All the characters were going through the same kind of situation in their eras. Kevin did a great emotional explanation of it all and I'm saddened at the answer to the big question we had about Jack, RIP
Was that Superbowl they watched in 1978 or 1979? I'm not a football fan or historian on the game, so I don't know when Jack and Rebecca had that conversation. On that note though, I wonder why they didn't go with hockey instead of football? It would've been cool to see them gathering for a Penguins game at that pub instead of a Steelers game. That's just the Canadian in me Could you imagine if William and his wife were there and saw the whole thing and we didn't know it? That would've been real irony there, but I don't know if William would've remembered. I can't wait for next week |

Or maybe he cry that he doesn't have more time to spend w/ William?? Or something?? I really can't see the grandfather die in same episode..
