If the show were to go on long enough I could maybe see them getting together one day but there's too much focus on Hayes and Conner right now.

I just wish the writer's would make Connor more likable.

I agree with you though Kay - it would definitely be a while before these two could hook up and have it make sense.

I just find his character really stale and I don't see the chemistry between him and Hayes like most on this board. I don't see the show getting another season so I don't see her and Sam hooking up but if by some chance the show continued past this season I can see it. Usually enemies end up falling for each other on tv shows and movies. Happens all the time.

I think that Hayes and Connor have chemistry. I just have a hard time rooting for them when I don't particularly care for Connor. But his character could definitely grow on me as the season progresses. Right now they are not portraying him with much depth but that could change as time goes on.

I don't ship them but I don't mind Conner and Hayes, I do agree with Amy though, I would love to see more to Conner than what they've given us.

I don't ship Hayes/Sam at all (though to be fair I don't ship anyone on this show...well not yet anyway) but I do agree that I find they have more appeal than Connor/Hayes. Even though I don't really see anything shipper like (imo) with SH. With CH it's obvious they want them to be a ship/couple but it just imo comes off as very awkward and forced. And now adding the ex into it just as me

even harder. Though to be honest I feel both do better with the ex than with each other.

As for SH beyond all that I think they have an interesting dynamic based on the fact she pretty much took his job. And while that was an upset for him he for the most seems to embracing her as the leader of the group and maybe not paying compliments to her seems to respect her and what she does. And isn't letting what happened get in the way of that.
