OMG, that's my favorite-est CD EVAAARR! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love it. Their deeeeep edges, their speed, their extensions, their expression (plus my undying love for Tessa's AT dress). Out of all the CDs in dance, I really liked their Blues and Argentine Tango (solely based on edge work and extensions).

I've watched a few others who did the AT, but for some reason, VM have this incredible speed that no other team has matched. It almost seemed like the other team's song track was slowed down or something. The moment at 0:53 is also really spot-on. I don't even know how they do that. The whole slo-mo sequence at 2:57 was mind blowing. And it looks like Scott was, for a milisecond, off the ice as he did a 3-turn. UGH! I can't express my love for this CD.

Now THOSE are some edges. That's what I wanna be like one day.

ETA: 2009 Worlds CD

Lovely edges coming around the corner, and lovely opening choreo, but not a huge fan of the weird horn thing that Tessa does, but I do like how Tessa touches Scott's head. And lets not speak about their costumes (particularly Scott's overly fluffy collar). It's funny how most of the men have the same costume for the Paso. And that was probably the first time I really saw DW jazz it up in the costume department for CDs.

I love both of those CDs, especially the first one! Their edges are totally ridiculous. But, uh, agreed about Scott's costume in the Paso. Those ruffles are just kind of awkward.

It's right at 1:06. It's not really a horn thing, more like a pointing thing. Never been too crazy about it. But I guess you gotta bring in the "bull" somewhere, right? haha!

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification!

Scott updated his fb page again - thats like three times in three days I almost want to thank that Michael Barr person (But not really). It is nice to hear his updates though now that his personal page is closed to fans.

If it weren't for the book, I would have no idea that the amazing Tango CD was the beginning of the shin troubles.

Now I can't get this out of my mind when I'm watching the program...

Same. You don't even see her bobble at all during the CD. Even in pictures when you can see their lines, they're so clean. And she never gave it away in her expression at all. I can't get it out of my head either. Although it's my hands down favorite CD, it's sometimes makes me cringe whenever I watch that, knowing that that is how she felt.

Funnily enough, Scott never deleted me from his personal page. Maybe he missed me idk, I didn't even realize he had taken most fans off until a few weeks ago

I had forgotten about that, thanks for reminding us. It makes the performance that much more incredible when you watch it with the knowledge that Tessa was skating in agony for the last half of it.

Can I ask - has he been just as absent on his "real" page as the fan page? (Of course, except for the uncharacteristic flurry of activity the last few days. Hahaha.)

I never cease to be amazed at Tessa's courage and grace under such intense pressure.
She's awesome.

He's been on some, but much less since the Worlds announcement was made I think. He's probably just busy with training.
