InListend to several former NFL players today, as far as Sports 36 is considered old. He may have a very hard time coming back from this injury for next year..

It depends on which sport. 36 is not old in golf. There have been baseball players to play into their 40s. I think that it just depends on an individual's body & what they can do & how much pain perhaps they can take.

It definitely depends on the individual.

Rodgers is done though, IMO. It's a hard injury to come back from even when young(er).

Hey all. Wild day in the N.F.L. yesterday. Here is a list of injuries that happened during it:

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Carlos Watkins (arm) did not return versus the Giants.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) was ruled out in the second half of Sunday's game versus the Bengals. Head coach John Harbaugh said he doesn't believe the injury is serious.

Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde (hamstring) did not return to the game versus the Raiders.

Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson (foot) was ruled out in the first half of Sunday's game versus the Buccaneers. Wide receiver Darnell Mooney (knee) did not return to the game.

Cincinnati Bengals safety Nick Scott was ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion in the second half of Sunday's game versus the Ravens.

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Zack Martin (ankle) did not return versus the
Jets. Martin came out of the game as a precautionary measure after rolling his ankle and is fine, NFL Network's Jane Slater reported, per a source.

Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was ejected from Sunday's game versus the Commanders after a helmet-to-helmet hit on tight end Logan Thomas.

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery (thigh) did not return to the game versus the Seahawks. Linebacker James Houston (ankle) was ruled out in the second half of Sunday's game.

Green Bay Packers guard Elgton Jenkins (knee) was ruled out in the second half of Sunday's game versus the Falcons. He is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, adding that Jenkins will have an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.

Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson was ruled out with a concussion. Backup Gardner Minshew entered the game in the second quarter versus the Texans. Center Ryan Kelly was evaluated for a concussion and did not return.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was evaluated for a concussion after Sunday's game versus the Bills.

Los Angeles Rams guard Joe Noteboom left Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. Running back Cam Akers was inactive due to a "coach's decision," head coach Sean McVay told reporters, adding that it is a different situation to last year when Akers missed games due to personal reasons.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was ruled out late in Sunday's game to be checked for a concussion. Head coach Mike McDaniel said they'd know more about Waddle's situation on Monday. Running back Salvon Ahmed suffered a groin injury and did not return.

New England Patriots defensive back Marcus Jones was ruled out due to a shoulder injury in Sunday's game.

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley suffered an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game versus the Cardinals. Offensive lineman Ben Bredeson left with a concussion.

New York Jets safety Tony Adams (hamstring) was ruled out versus the Cowboys. Cornerback Michael Carter II (elbow) did not return. Linebacker Quincy Williams has a knee injury, head coach Robert Saleh said, but he had no further update.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen (chest) did not return to Sunday's game versus the Lions. Head coach Pete Carroll said Woolen hurt his shoulder a bit, but that he'd be fine.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Chase Edmonds (knee) was ruled out in the second half of Sunday's game versus the Bears.

Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas (concussion) was ruled out versus the Broncos.

You are welcome. More happened in yesterday's games unfortunately.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb out for season after knee injury

"He’s a great football player as we know, but he’s an even better person, so we will support him every step along the way," Browns Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday night.

Cleveland Browns’ star running back Nick Chubb will likely be out for the season after he was carted off the field during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night after a severe knee injury.

“Nick’s got a very significant knee injury," Browns Coach Kevin Stefanski said in a postgame briefing Monday night. "He’s a great football player as we know, but he’s an even better person, so we will support him every step along the way.”

Chubb was hit by Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in the second quarter of Monday's game and his left knee went inward, NFL.com reported. Chubb was seen grabbing his leg in pain and medics ran onto the field. He was quickly carted off the field and ruled out of the game.

Stefanski wasn't sure how many ligaments the 27-year-old Georgia athlete had torn.

When asked if he anticipates Chubb will be out for the season, Stefanski said, “I do.”

Chubb injured the same knee during his college career in Georgia in 2015; in that case he had torn his MCL, LCL and PCL, according to ESPN.

“It’s a blow for the whole team and we don’t want his injury to be in vain,” Myles Garrett with the team said in a postgame player press conference. “We got to push on, that’s what he’d want us to do. And if he had any choice in the matter, that’s what he would do. Just gotta continue to fight and use it as motivation.”

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson said Chubb’s injury prompted “a lot of flashbacks to the previous one he had in college.”

Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson expected to miss remainder of season with broken right leg

Coach Frank Reich would not say who’ll replace Thompson in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game at Seattle.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson has a broken right leg and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to coach Frank Reich.

Thompson underwent surgery on Tuesday to fix a fractured fibula he sustained in the first quarter of Carolina’s 20-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.

Reich said it’s hard to put into words how much Thompson brings to the team, calling him a team player and “a warrior, a guy who knows how to practice.” Thompson has four 100-tackle seasons in nine years with the Panthers and is considered the team’s emotional leader on defense.

Reich would not say who’ll replace Thompson in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game at Seattle.

The news is a crushing blow for the Panthers defense, which lost starting cornerback Jaycee Horn to a hamstring injury last week. Horn is expected to miss at least six weeks.

“These injuries hurt, but the train has got to keep going,” Reich said. “You can love your brother and feel bad for your brother, but at the same time understand we got to have the next man up mentality.”

Hi all. More injury news. CB Tevon Diggs of the Dallas Cowboys has torn an ACL & will miss the remaining games of this season. Wish him a full recovery.

Saquan Barkley has been ruled ''out'' for today's game vs. the 49ers with a sprained ankle.

Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers has not practiced this week & is doubtful to play vs. Seattle with an ankle injury.

Thanks. I did not know that was an issue in the N.F.L.

Here is a link to the N.F.L. injury reports for each team this weekend & on Monday.

You are welcome. Sad news today. Dick Butkus reportedly has died at age 80. May he rest in peace.
