Yes. Thanks. That's disappointing certainly that Christian McCaffrey could barely play in his game yesterday. Certainly wish him well. How about Sam Darnold though in positive news? I wonder if they Jets are kicking themselves about trading him. Josh Gordon is being reinstated by the N.F.L. Wish him well.
Here's some news: NFL adding Monday night game to Super Wild Card Weekend The NFL is making more of a show of the opening playoff weekend as they’ll not just have six games for Super Wild Card Weekend but one will move to Monday. It was a big change to the NFL Playoffs last year when the league added an additional team that would make the postseason, thus giving only one team a bye in each conference and having three Wild Card games per conference. The result was Super Wild Card Weekend with three games on both Saturday and Sunday to kick off the playoffs. Now, the NFL has more changes for the opening round of the playoffs — at least in terms of the broadcast schedule. On Friday, the league officially announced that Super Wild Card Weekend would conclude with a Monday night game as opposed to on Sunday night. This means there will be two games on Saturday (one late afternoon, one night) and three contests on Sunday (one early, one late afternoon, one night) before the Monday night finale. The biggest initial concern about this change in format was a potential competitive advantage for the Monday winner who would be playing in the Divisional Round on a short week. However, Albert Breer of the MMQB reported that the winner of that game would play on Sunday the following week. What network will broadcast the Monday game for Wild Card Weekend of the NFL Playoffs? In their announcement, the NFL noted that CBS and NBC would each broadcast two games on Super Wild Card Weekend while FOX and ABC/ESPN would each get one game apiece. With that said, it remains unclear which network will get the Monday night finale to the opening playoff weekend. ABC/ESPN would make a lot of sense given that they already hold the Monday Night Football broadcast rights. For familiarity’s sake, that would go one and one. But then again, perhaps the league wants to switch it up for the playoffs. In any case, it will be interesting to see how this moves forward. As NFL fans, it’s exciting that we now get an extra day of action for Super Wild Card Weekend. But we’ll see if players, coaches and so on end up feeling the same way. https://nflspinzone.com/2021/09/24/n...-card-weekend/ |
Probably not, wasn't exactly playing well with the Jets anyways
Thanks for that |
That was largely I think due to personnel. He's never had someone as skilled on offence I think to play with before as Christian McCaffrey. Now going back, here's some of who was on the Jets in 2018 with Sam Darnold, Bilal Powell, Robby Anderson, Jermaine Kearse, Chris Herndon, Isaiah Crowell & Quincy Enuwa. Some of Darnold's teammates in 2019 included: Le 'Veon Bell, Bilal Powell, Ty Montgomery, Jamison Crowder, Robby Anderson, & Demaryius Thomas. Last year the Jets had Frank Gore play 15 games. Jamison Crowder did play 12 for them. So did Breshad Perriman. Bell played only 2 games. Before Sam Darnold, the Jets had Josh McCown & Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting QB's most recently. That franchise has not given their QB's for a while a good enough chance I think to be successful in the N.F.L., especially when the Patriots had Tom Brady.

That's true, but other quarterbacks have shown more in similar situations

This is one highlight you’ll see over and over. Baltimore almost no time left on the clock needs a field goal to win. 66 yrd attempt hits the crossbar bounces in and over for the fg and win
|
Certainly wish Andy Reid well. Some more surprising games today in the N.F.L. Tampa Bay has only scored 14 points more than halfway into the 3rd quarter vs. the Chargers. Great win by Cincy earlier. Brutal performance by the Bears o-line vs. Cleveland earlier.

LA wins ….Denver no surprise is blowing out the Jets. Don’t forget the Arizona 68 yard field goal attempt The lead to Jacksonville running it back 109 yards …
I didn’t have the Kansas City game on my network, Just now beside your comment seeing about Andy Reid Reports are he’s OK |
That kick was ridiculous!
|
49ers played awful defense at the end of the game. smh
These Sunday night games have been very exciting! |
An apology be the N.F.L. about their officials missing a blatant delay of game call against Baltimore yesterday I do expect to happen to the Detroit Lions. I know that they won't do do this, but I'd have the Lions & Ravens play that down again with Baltimore moved 5 yards backwards. I understand ''holding'' getting missed by the o-line at times, but not the damn playclock. good grief.
