I forgot about today's World Series game, but part of that is I think due to some of our rabbit's escaping their hutch & me needing to look for them. I did get catch some & 1 I might not get until after it turns daylight again. Anyway, well done by the Braves winning? By the way, do any of you think that the Atlanta Braves should chsnge their franchise nickname or want them to keep it as is?

Nov. 7: Last date for clubs to tender qualifying offers to eligible free agents. The qualifying offer is set at $18.4 million in salary in 2022. The Tigers have no player for whom this will be a serious consideration.

Today is also the last day to reinstate players from the 60-day injured list.

Nov. 7: Major League free agents may sign with any club beginning at 5 p.m. Eligible players also become minor-league free agents at 5 p.m.

Nov. 7: Gold Glove winners announced.

Nov. 8: Finalists for all Baseball Writers Association of American awards announced.

Nov. 9-11: MLB General Managers Meetings in Carlsbad, Calif.

Nov. 15: Rookie of the Year winners announced.

Nov. 16: Manager of the Year winners announced.

Nov. 17: Cy Young Award winners announced.

Nov. 17: Last date for player to accept a qualifying offer from club.

Nov. 18: MVPs announced

Nov. 19: Reserve lists for Major League (40-man) and minor-league levels must be finalized and filed by 6 p.m. These are players who will be protected in the Rule 5 Draft.

Dec. 1: Collective bargaining agreement between owners and players expires.

Dec. 2: Final day to tender contracts to arbitration-eligible players. Players not offered contracts are said to be “non-tendered” and can become free agents.

Dec. 5: Last day to outright a player prior to the Rule 5 Draft. The Tigers have done this in the past to clear a spot to select someone.

Dec. 5-9: MLB Winter Meetings in Orlando, Fla.

Dec. 8: Rule 5 Draft.

January 14, 2022: Last date for teams and arbitration-eligible players who have not yet agreed to a contract to exchange salary figures.

Feb. 26, 2022: Tigers open Grapefruit League season in Lakeland, Fla., against the Washington Nationals.

March 31, 2022: Tigers open regular season against the Mariners at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

April 8, 2022: Tigers’ home opener at Comerica Park against the Chicago White Sox.

You're welcome. Randy Arozarena of the Rays & Jonathan India of Cincinnati each won the ''Rookie of the Year'' award in their respective league this week. The Detroit Tigers have already signed left-handed pitcher Edwaurdo Rodriguez. His deal with them reportedly is for 5 years & $77,000,000. Wow. Good for Detroit getting a starting pitcher, but his E.R.A. for Boston this year was 4.74. His career E.R.A. with the Red Sox is 4.16. Some say that the A.L. Central is up for grabs, though the White Sox are likely going to win it by at least 10 games I think next year, but good for Detroit for trying to improve their team after some rough years.
