We get all the launches this month, don't we? I'm so excited to see the new liveries! I just hope Renault will have a prettier one this year.

me too, Renault car last year was just weird. as is with Honda. we probably won't see too much change with Ferrari.

Let's be honest - it wasn't weird, it was just ugly.

Here are some pictures of F2008, HQ:

Nothing revolutionary IMO, but still very good looking and kind of classy.

I'm really looking forward to the '08 season. Last season was terrific, right down to the last race (especially the last race, as I was rooting for Ferrari).

I think this season will be a good one. No reason why Ferrari and McLaren wouldn't be as good as last year, and I think Renault will be a factor again with Alonso back with the team. And who knows, maybe Honda or Toyota will be competitive, too. A stopped clock is right twice a day, after all.

I'm sure Ferrari will be the team to beat in 2008, but I'm not so sure about McLaren. The whole spy saga may have a negative effect on them, they lost Alonso, whose car-developing skills are really good and their form used to resemble a sinusoid: 2003 - super, 2004 - not so good, 2005 - super, 2006- not so good, 2007- super, 2008 - ...? I hope Renault will be back as frontrunners, as I'm always rooting for them.

Lindsay, thanks for updating the opening post!

Yeah, it would be cool to see BMW get on pace with the frontrunners and challenge for wins. Aside from Ferrari, they've had the most stability in their team and driver lineup from last year to this year, and they seem to improve every year, so there's no reason why they shouldn't continue that trend.

You never know how things will turn out, but I think there's the potential for 3 or 4 teams to threaten for race wins, which would make for a great season.

totally agree. if there are like 4 teams who are all running out front, we'll expect a really great season!

I totally agree too. Let's hope that we'll have a really exciting fight for the championship in 2008.

Fernando drove a Renault today for the first time since Brazilian GP 2006. And he topped today's time sheets, I know it's only testing and it doesn't matter much, but still it's nice.

I couldn't resist.

you beat me to the new Alonso pics! he fits right at home with Renault. he left the team too fast. i mean he won champion that year and leaving the team isn't really a wise decision.
