The Red Sox are better than they are right now. We'll see at the end of the year though.
I <3 the Mets and Luis Castillo. |

It was karmic payback for the 2003 WS hit from him, as far as I was concerned.

It's the weird wind patterns + the height of the structure that screw everything up (who thinks about those things when they're building a gorgeous $1.5 billion ball park? ). |

It's absolutely beautiful, IMO -- it turned out much, much better looking than most of the models they advertised. I haven't encountered many folks who argue against how aesthetically pleasing it is, honestly.
The problems [with it] are the prices (which have removed a lot of the crowd that made the home atmosphere the best in baseball and created a caste system of sorts -- thanks Lonn Trost!) and the HR, neither of which they can correct this season, but will have to in the offseason, one way or another. |

Anyone watching the Brewers/Indians game on ESPN? It's 14-12 heading into the bottom of the 8th, after Prince Fielder hit a grand slam to put Milwaukee ahead. Crazy game.
