Zidane's name gets mentioned as a new coach.

I missed them too but they will be back this weekend.

Yay, that's awesome!

Yes I've heard his name being thrown around as well.

I know, I'm excited for league play to be back.

Yes it was. It always feels good to win!!

We'll see what happens, Zidane has said he'll be coaching this season.

So, I watched just bits and pieces of several PL and La Liga games, it's all a bit blurry to me. I did watch Real Madrid's game, they had a draw and dropped points for the first time this season.

I also watched Juventus' match which was really entertaining and Cristiano finally scored his 1st AND 2nd official Juventus goals! I'm just so happy for him because you could see what a relief it was to him. Now he's ready to be unleashed in the UCL.

I watched Barcelona's game. My mom is very disappointed in Tottenham and Leicester. Both of them looked awful.

They need a league win badly or any win? In league play Tottenham has 9 out of 15 possible points thus far, so that's pretty good. The Saints blew it vs. Brighton Albion after having a 2 goal lead on Monday. Ugh. I can just about guarantee they will lose vs. Liverpool on Saturday too. Disappointing performance by Roma vs. Real Madrid. Apparently Totti tried to get Ibrahimovic & Ronaldo to join Roma, but of course that was to no avail.

Both got good results this weekend.

I watched the Southampton vs. Brighton game on Monday, it was pretty wild. Too bad about the Liverpool match. But Liverpool's just been really strong this season too, they're the only ones in the PL with a perfect record.

And I actually missed the Real Madrid vs. Roma match, I was distracted with other events. Of course I saw the result. Totti really tried to do that? Wow, imagine how that would have turned out. But yeah, sounds pretty unrealistic.

I watched several games this weekend. Highlights were of course Real Madrid and Juventus winning with Ronaldo scoring the winning goal. I'm finding Juventus' matches really entertaining, I'm actually quite enjoying them.

Lots of midweek games next week!

Interesting weekend of soccer. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid aren't playing great now.

They really aren't. Barcelona have failed to win their last 3 matches and of course Rea Madrid can't capitalize on that and goes on losing and drawing whenever Barca does and stays in the 2nd place in La Liga, for now.

I saw on this show they air here in the US where they talk about soccer that they're worried that Real Madrid isn't scoring. Not sure what happened, they seemed to get off to a good start. I'm sure they'll figure things out.

Very sad news that Leicester City's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four other people were killed when his helicopter crashed shortly after leaving the stadium last Saturday. The team played today, it was a very emotional match that they won 1-0.

The accident was really shocking The first game back is always the hardest, I am glad they got through it and got a victory out of it.
