You mean MLS Playoffs. Not MLB I hope. Yeah the season typically runs from March to somewhere in October & then they start the playoffs right away it seems.

OK. I was wondering which awards you meant. I'll need to look at the winners list. I missed em.

The Best FIFA Men's Player used to be the same as the Ballon D'or between 2010 and 2015, now they're separate again. The winners are here: The Best FIFA Football Awards™ - FIFA.com. It was a good show.
Real Madrid plays Girona today, the match seems to go on as scheduled despite of what's happening in Catalonia. __________________

My mom was so happy that Leicester City won today.

I saw that. That sucks. You never know the teams ahead of Real Madrid could lose a few games.

Yeah it really sucks because everything is so messed up, they are all playing so badly (except maybe Isco) plus there are so many injuries. It's such a stark contrast to the team just 2 months ago who dominated the Spanish Super Cup... But yeah, of course you never know what will happen. They are 8 points behind Barcelona and there have been 3 previous occasions when that gap has been caught up (none of them by Real though ). But while it's not impossible, it's not likely at all, Barca would have to start seriously sucking and I don't see that happening while they have Messi.
I just need a good performance in the CL this week. xD __________________

That's true. You never know what might happen. Hopefully they start to turn things around. I saw things didn't go well for them in the CL.

I can only hope so. The good news is most of the injured players will return soon, so maybe that will help them to find their groove again. But they definitely can't keep going on like the last game in the CL or we can say goodbye to everything else too. xD We'll see tonight when they're playing against Las Palmas (who have not been doing well - although it seems like even the weakest teams play like they're in the CL final against us before they go back to sucking again xD), I just hope for a good result before the international break when we can all get a breather.
I did watch some other games this weekend too (Premier League, Serie A, La Liga) but I'm just too preoccupied with Real so I don't really have anything to say about them. __________________

I watched Leicester's game yesterday.
I totally get that. When is the international break? __________________

I watched the Leicester game too.
International break starts pretty much now that all the matches from this weekend are done. For example the playoffs for UEFA's World Cup qualifiers will be played on Nov 9-14 (go Italy!) plus a bunch of other qualifiers and friendlies. Also I have to mention this, Real Madrid beat Las Palmas 3-0! Thank you Jesus (Vallejo, one of our young newbies who's the defender we need )! xD I just wish Cristiano would get his goal already, I swear it's like he's cursed or something. Well he did give a beautiful assist (and maybe he's just saving his goals for a hattrick in the Madrid derby which is coming up after the international break ). __________________

Oh ok I guess no league play this weekend then?
I saw that Real Madrid won. I didn't know Ronaldo haven't scored a goal. Maybe he will have a big game in their next match. __________________
