a lot of what happens in cricket (unlike baseball) depends on the pitch

if the pitch is flat the bowlers dont really stand a chance. scores and margin of victory can become bloated in cricket, when all you need to do to win is score just 1 more run than the other team

its always been an ongoing issue to address the balance between bat and ball

Honestly, sometimes I feel like that the ICC is too focusing on ramming up the scores in games that they forget to keep things even for the bowlers too.

That last match was quite low-scoring though, always interesting when something like that happens after people start saying it's too easy for batsmen!
