Meryl Davis & Charlie White #1 - Olympic and World Silver Medallists!
 Recent News: Meryl and Charlie took first at the NHK Trophy. Next they are set to compete at Skate America (11-14/11).  Charlie White: Date of Birth: October 24, 1987 Nationality: American Height: 175 cm (5’9’’) Club: Detroit Skating Club Coach: Igor Shpilband, Marina Zoueva Meryl Davis: Date of Birth: January 1, 1987 Nationality: American Height: 160 cm (5’3’’) Club: Arctic FSC Coach: Igor Shpilband, Marina Zoueva  Charlie White began skating at the age of three, Meryl Davis at age 5. The two teamed up in 1997. Meryl Davis and Charlie White are also students at the University of Michigan. In the 2006-2007 season, the two made their debut as seniors, and won bronze at the US Figure Skating Championships, making the world team. There they placed 7th. In 2007-2008, they won their first Grand Prix medal at the Trophee Eric Bompard, and then went on to win silver at the US Figure Skating Championships. In 2008-2009, Davis and White won their first Grand Prix Event, Skate Canada. They were also able to make the Grand Prix Final for the first time, where they won bronze. At the US Figure Skating Championships, they took home the gold. The 2009-2010 season started out great for the team. Winning both their Grand Prix Events, they qualified for the final, where they also took first, being the first Americans to do so. Later in the season they also won the US Figure Skating Championships again. During the 2010 Olympics and World Figure Skating Championships, they had to settle for the silver, though they were always a close second to their training mates and Olympic and World Champions, Virtue and Moir.  & love that FD, and their outfits too.  I kinda fell in love with these too when I saw their last year's OD, because I thought ice dance was boring & then they did this Bollywood thing & at first I was like: is this a joke?  I just loved it.  |

I can't wait to see what changes they've made to their programs at SA this weekend. I have to admit, I'm not really crazy about either their SD or the FD yet. But I'm sure they will look great!

Sweet, a Meryl/Charlie sports board. This one shouldn't get lost so easily...

That interview is just brilliant. Charlie is so talkative! It would be hilarious to be in the same vicinity as they are or even seeing them practice together...the laughs would keep on coming!
