We've done this in years past. Anyone who is interested in MLB or simply taking part in a competitive fantasy league, please express your interest here. If possible, it would be fun to start a MLB fantasy league filled with people from this board. We'll probably conduct the draft here, so we will need to get this thing rolling soon. Spring training is about to start.

Joining does not take a lot of time. All you need to do is check your roster a few times (at most) a week. It doesn't take a large time commitment. That is, unless you are a big fantasy baseball geek.

I totally sucked in my own fantasy league last year, so there's no where for me to go but up when it comes to this stuff at this point.

I'm not a huge fan of fantasy baseball, but I'd consider it just to pass the time. How will the league work? Will it be head-to-head? Is the scoring done a weekly basis?

generally we do have a head to head league with totals for stat categories used for points and the winner was the person with the most points wins.

we would use hits, runs, home runs, batting average. for pitching we would use wins, era and strikeouts. we would also use field errors and batting strikeouts for negative points. these categories are not set in stone so thay can be changed.

basically if you had more hits than your opponent during the week you would get a point. same for each category except errors and strikeouts, the fewer teh better.

as for weekly vs. daly rosters, ive always thought weekly added to the strategy of the game but it seems like we always end up goin with daily

If we go ahead with this, I don't really care what format we use. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of using daily rosters because it requires a lot of work. I'll admit it, I'm lazy and don't have the time. I'm sure you can tell that based on our NBA league. I'd be kicking everyone's ass right now if I kept better tabs on it.
