A couple pics of Andy telling the crowd yesterday that he couldn't play. He'll be fine in a few days and I think it's very typical of him, in an admirable way, not to play and not risk injuring himself more because he's got the rest of the DC guys depending on him and he doesn't want to let them down. It just sucks that he couldn't wrap up this week because this tourney was SO in the bag for him. Neither Beasty or Carleson really should have given him much problem with how he had been playing and it would have left him only 5 pts behind Lleyton, a margin he could have easily overcome between IW and Miami. ::sighs:: Oh, well. I love that he took the time to apologize to the fans for not being able to play and sign, what looked like, a ton autographs though (when he probably should not have been on his feet like that for that long). Good boy, Andy. :thumbs_up: |

Yes, 5 pts. ::sighs:: However, on a positive note, he's got more points at this point this year than he did last year at this point and he'll probably do better on clay this year than he did last (I know, not hard)...
