5x06: Exit Wounds

THREATS

Kane’s (Henry Ian Cusick) attempt to prove himself useful tests Wonkru’s allegiance to Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos). Madi (guest star Lola Flannery “Shadowhunters,” “Home Again”) faces an unexpected threat inside Wonkru, forcing Clarke (Eliza Taylor) to make an unlikely ally. Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Michael Blundell directed the episode written by Drew Lindo (#506). Original airdate 6/5/2018.

Yeah, I haven't actually read any spoilers (I don't avoid them, but I don't look for them either) so I'm just speculating here. But I get the feeling that they'll want Madi when they realise she's a pure nightblood and not a synthetic one.

Yeah, I hope this happens. Anything but Blodreina.

So nervous and excited for the new episode. The long wait has been awful. Damn, what will I do once this season is over?

Octavia is 100% gonna try and kill Madi which will cause a conflict between Bellarke. It just seems like it’s going that way.

What reason would she have for killing Madi, though? Because Madi is a threat to her rule/her power?

Yeah, this exactly. Or maybe Wonkru as a whole may want Madi and Octavia to battle for that title. I don’t think that’ll happen now. I think the newest conflict will be between Octavia/Bellamy/Echo and then the Clarke/Madi/Octavia conflict will come later.

Octavia at this stage is capable of anything...

If Octavia goes after Madi in any way, that will make me lose all hope for her just like going after Bellamy would.

You make a good point, she has become a bit of a antagonist and honestly the source of most conflict this season so far. So I honestly wouldn't put it past her to go after Madi and Clarke.

I'm actually really nervous about tonight's episode, especially cause I'm such a big Echo fan, I know it's gonna be a hard episode for her, which in turn means it'll be a hard episode for Bellamy. Maybe the episode where the Blake sibling's spar?

One positive thing though, her boyfriend is Bellamy Blake which means she has a BF that'll fight for her til the end which makes me think she's pretty safe, FOR NOW.

I’m nervous about this episode just because . . . Becho. *shudders* As you know, I just also can’t stand Echo as a character, so I don’t really care to see her on my screen a whole lot.

But it would be OOC for Bellamy to be a bad boyfriend, so I’m at peace with it.

But I think we’re gonna get absolutely NO Bellarke tonight, so it’s gonna be a rough one for the fandom.

I guess you just gonna soldier on through it and try and be as subjective as possible, you have always seemed pretty good at compartmentalizing when it comes to this show. Sometimes you gotta separate your feelings on things.

Yeah, I am. It might be tough, but I can do it. Anything they give us just doesn’t compare (and really isn’t even meant to compare) to Bellarke. I just find it EXHAUSTING to carry the Negative Nancies and Debbie Downers in this fandom. And in any episode with any Becho interaction, I feel like people just freak out, and then it falls to the positive people who are actually seeing the big picture to pick them up and drag them forward again.
