It happens whenever a girl/woman becomes a lead in a genre that's usually reserved for boys/men. Take Daisy Ridley and Kelly Marie Tran, both of them left social meida because of all the hatred rooted in sexism and racism. Black Lightning had awful ratings and reviews on imdb after the Pilot aired and people called it racist. lol
Well black lightning is great and for example caity lotz as lead on lot is also great, not a huge fan of ruby rose though. With another actress and a better plot batwoman could be a good show though. Also looking forward to the stargirl show on the DC universe streaming service.

sadly i don't know Black Lightning or Legends of Tomorrow, can't talk with you guys about that

Can't Have You 10-13-2019 07:12 PM

I don't watch either either  Though I've seen a few episodes of LoT when Supergirl does the crossovers, just extremely confused.

I am behind most shows actually.

Can't Have You 10-14-2019 07:31 AM

I hate when that happens! I always try not to get to far behind because then I just quit

Watched And Then We Danced today. Such a beautiful movie, made me cry so much. The dance scenes were truly amazing and captivating, especially the finale one.

Did you read about jeremy renner allegedly threatening to kill his wife? He has a history of bad behavior, using the N word making fun of transgenders and saying it‘s not his problem if there‘s a pay gap between men and women.

He and chris evans also made „fun“ of black widow calling her a ******* who‘s always flirting with everyone. I thoughT chris evans is actually better. But he isn‘t.

I think it‘s best to not trust actors at all even if they seem nice the majority are jerks. As for actresses, well black widow actress scarlett johansson is also problematic. I‘d trust actresses more than actors overall, but still only to some degree actually. Hollywood is a pool of problematic people.

Jeremy Renner???? oh no, man i really loved him...:(

i never was a Chris Evans fan, so

but those are two great Marvel actors, shame on them. very sad news.

thanks Paula for the trailer. i just watched it and it makes me wanna watch the movie so much! i need to find a place where to watch it.

Yes so many actors you actually like are rather jerks actually even if they official support the metoo cuase or other good causes. Also the guy who plays falcon on avengers Anthony Mackie is pretty sexist, wants a wifge who stand in the kitchen nd makes him sandwiches. I still like Mark Ruffalo for sure. He once apparently used the word gipsy on the graham norton show, but he apologized plus it's only seen as a bad term in the UK. In the US it isn't a slur at all, so I don't blame him there. Also chris hemsworth is nice I think.

if Chris Hemsworth is doing something stupid i'll be so done with all these Hollywood actors. but yeah the less you know about the private lives of celebs, the less you get disappointed. though i prefer knowing because i want to know if my "adoration" for them is justified or not.

Yes I always want to know as much as possible to be sure who i should like and who not.

Can't Have You 10-16-2019 06:55 PM

Thank goodness I don't follow too many male actors  Less to be disappointed with.

Though, that's not to say female actors aren't problematic too.

Hollywood in general is very problematic.
