I know only in season one they were close to the books, then with season 2 tey started aking the grounders more relatable and nicer.

i wish the show had stayed with the theme of the Skypeople and Grounders reaching common ground, and restarting civilization. all that jrot a.i. garbage and anomaly stuff just ruined the show forever, not to mention killing the premiere character on the show, and a very interesting relationship. i am forever angry/sad at what happened on 307 and after, the show had so much potential. i have zero interest in the book(s) especially if the Grounders are portrayed as bad guys. ugh. they survived a nuclear apocalypse and built a working culture for nearly a hundred years before the Skypeople returned to earth. where's the credit for that?! yes, their ways could be harsh, but who's to say that harshness/survival couldn't translate to a more suitable civilization, given enough time and resources. i will always be a fan of the Grounders.
