Agreeing with your theory, I think it would tie in really nicely if Padre was some sort of subgroup that's working for the CRM.

PADRE is the big bad guys for next season i guess. Ian said something in the episode insider about how it's a place unlike anything we've seen before, which tells me it's probably a lot like some places we've seen before

i'm guessing that boat at the end IS PADRE.

i though PADRE was supposed to represent a new civilization, a permanent safe haven from the walker hordes.

Doubtful though, this seems some creepy cult, crm is very different. CRM is just the military of the civic republic. And the CR is actually a quite normal society aside from the evil military, they have families and all.

Though the padre folks seem to be at least ex militry too since they seem to have a warship in the final scene.

So dumb momo action with his typical we can all make it work speeches and crazy madison who does not care about her kids. Terrible writing as usual, glad we don't have to watch season 8 and see them butcher madison any further.

Also it made zero sense that all these people would die by some people from padre lol. The padre folks were like 3 dudes with guns the other were at least 10. No way they'd all die without taking out at least one of the padre guys. Bad writing.

The quote is from the conversation Madison had with Morgan when he told her about her kids. I think Alicia isn't "dead dead" now. Especially since Madison threw out the "you didn't see her die" line. Still a massive fumble to not reunite them here.

i agree, but i don't believe the writers ever intended a reunion in Season 7. it's a long-term ploy to drag the few remaining fans into watching an Alicia-less Season 8.

If they are going to do the Madison needs to be pulled from the dark routine then please let it be her buddy Strand and not Morgan. I can't handle more of Morgans let's help people nonesense.

Morgan is kind of pointless on this show because he eventually winds up on TWD. We know he's never going to die on this show.

I would be more surprised if Kim moves over to TWD.
