maybe the 'writers' found a way to write Alicia out of the current storyline and replace her with Madison...? in their twisted vision, they still have a member of the Clark family, since they stupidly killed Nick, and egregiously failed to make Alicia the lead of the show, instead bringing in Morgan.

Cuurently watching, it has it's moments, but the writing is all over the place as usual, strand is suddenly a goodie again, wes is super evil now and alycia forgave strand after a 5 minute convo. The writers really have no clue what they want with those characters.

you're right i got whiplash from all the flip-flopping Strand did this episode and Alicia getting mad at him for killing Wes was stupid too. like, girl, Strand actually legitimately saved your life for once, why are you mad at him?! and i am glad Wes died. oh they ruined his character as well but never mind.

Daniel remembering and accepting that Ofelia really is dead was handled better though, and i like how they tied Charlie into it (saw it coming somehow). i think Daniel’s story this season is one of the only ones i actually think was handled okay-ish. and i was also pleasantly surprised at the use of footage from the original three seasons for flashbacks, especially when they actually showed Ofelia.

Wes' character was butchered to the max. Just like everyone else

With that said there were a few touchful moments. Daniel almost made me cry. Also Strand saying he loves Alicia. That was a sweet and rare moment. The Ofelia flashbacks, ah
However the Strand-Alicia dynamic was so continually inconsistent in this episode. Let's not forget 6 episodes ago Alicia flat-out said "We're going to war" to Strand and now they're both on the same side WTF.

However so glad they're done with that stupid tower

you know what was also funny? not a single one of Strand's men actually listens to Strand over... ****ing Wes, the guy who just showed up and hasn't actually accomplished anything for the tower. i mean, you could have set up a cool plot thread where Strand was slowly losing respect inside the tower by throwing people off the roof and all of the pompous **** he was doing. instead, you made it look like all of his unquestioningly loyal underlings just changed their minds all of a sudden. way to drop the ball for no reason at all.

Wes dying made sense at this point. Also the cast is dying like flies lol.

Yes agree they handled daniel better than most others this season.

Also alicia is getting sicker every day, I wonder how they will miraculously save her lol. Also alicia randomly accidentally destroys the tower bc she's mad at strand.

i kinda believed him or wanted to believe him but yeah, you and Alicia have a point

i am honestly glad they are thinning out the cast. we're probably still due for a couple more deaths since the cast is still bloated so next is probably Charlie but i can see some more dying.

also wondering what the big solution with Alicia is...i mean what she has, is she dying now or not?? though honestly 7x14 gave me more vibes of them preparing Alicia to die rather than survive?

Same here tbh. I‘m very anxious and curious for the final two episodes. I hope she doesn‘t die. I really don‘t want to see her die.

After 7x13 I got the vibe that Alicia won't die. We have seen new posters, promos etc with a new outfit for her, she has her wepaon in the right hand and she looks healthy. It's cool that Sherry found her weapon and the scene she gives the weapon back to Alicia. In Alicia's facial expresions you can see she has a little trauma after the amputation with the barrel shroud. But also this determination to pull through.

Then again I haven't seen 7x14 yet...

This episode was decent but man this writing was absolutely awful in parts, like barricading the door with two dressers that should easily be able to be forced open by a group of people and the way the soldiers were easily convinced to turn on Strand. The end part was good, but please get better writers for season 8...

Okay I just watched 7x14...The insane writing for this show was at peak insanity this episode

People's motives, logic, and emotions can just wildly turn on a dime and for no real reason. My god how Strand can go from wanting to kill Alicia, to "Alicia is my daughter!" and then when all is about settled, turn on her again because "You aren't gonna forgive me so to hell with you!!!". It's just amazing. And Wes, who was part of the "good guys club" all this time, turns into super villain because Luciana lied to Daniel of all things. He also got all of Strand's dudes to turn on him really quick and for a weird reason. I forgot the Rabbi guy was even still on the show. He just shows up in like one scene per season to show that he's still there. And how tf does Daniel survive a shot to the chest? Wait, he survived much worse things, never mind me

Wow...just wow.

Putting logic aside...I did like some of Strand/Alicia scenes. Got some good old vibes. But apart from that the episode was really...a huge writing mess.

i mean ididn't hate this episode, i did enjoy whilst watching but probably because it felt like they're finally moving towards a conclusion to this awful season lol. glad Wes died, he has kinda done nothing interesting since season 6 and the new villain development felt sooo rushed and silly.

Strand's flip flopping was really annoying too. it's not realistic for him to do total 180s so rapidly but the writers gotta get to wherever they want to take him so
