exactly this! also, why haven't the moved out of the area already? i'm guessing they are waiting for the wind to "magically switch directions" to open a nice path to exit the area comes next season

But it is written by the two dummies unlike 7x07 which mostly had lame characters, but pretty decent writing actually. So I'd not expect it to be as good as episode 7.

No idea, I'd guess on military bases or in nuclear power plants you might find some.

The mask removing is ridiculous, pretty much they're like "But my freedoomm", "Masks are for losers", "Radiation is a hoax, masks don't help".

Yeah it feels like anti-maskers in the apocalypse. I mean let's be honest it's actually realistic, if now there was a nuclear apocalypse half of the survivors would die in the following months bc they'd refuse to wear masks or use suits or take anti-radiation pills.
