Tina do it now. It was the best episode I think so far of season 3.

Hands down, definitely
I was surprised at how Jake died, I must admit. Cutting his arm off though, holy moly. I think the death that shocked me the most will still remain how early on in the season Travis was killed. __________________

I really enjoyed this episode, especially the dynamic with Alicia and Ofelia at the Ranch. The moment where Alicia had to put down Coop was intense.
However I was frustrated with how Jake went out. Couldn't Nick have hit him... to the side? Instead if into the horde below? But it had to happen this way. Anyways like many of you I also never saw a realistic chance of Jake surviving. Troy is a good character, but I highly doubt they'll make him a character that is good after this. I swear. Each episode this show gets better and better. __________________

Jake's death is not for shock value only, it will have a huge influence on Troy and Alicia like already pointed out. yes, i feel like this will be a turning point for Alicia, especially once she finds out Jake is dead. this episode she seemed like a real leader, a lot better of a leader than her mom tbh. she wasn't just determined to live herself, she was determined to keep as many of the ranchers/nation alive as well.
the attack of the zombies was thrilling! i am sad because of Jake but not surprised at all i'm sure the other 3 will arrive with the semi and ram part of the horde. we have an epic battle coming up. can you imagine Madison's reaction when she comes home to THAT? Troy's best case redemption arc would be him self sacrificing to save the group in some way. or i can see him redeemed by saving the ranch. anyways he is back now and i admit the episodes with Troy are much better than the episodes without him. __________________

I agree about Travis' death
This honestly was one of my favorite episodes of the series. First time in forever that zombies truly felt scary. Plus, I thought the whole Nick/Troy/Jake dynamic was handled exactly the way I wanted it to. My guess now is Troy will help save the day, Nick will protect him by saying Troy came to warn them, and he's brought back into the fold of the main group. __________________

my only question is why they had Nick be an indirect cause of Jake's death? why not just have it be completely on Troy? if there is an answer/payoff, we are likely going to get it before the season ends, since the current showrunner is leaving.

Good questions I guess I can answer
Two things: 1) Troy would never intentionally kill Jake. He's been shown to care deeply about him and always try to protect him 2) To heighten Nicks weird mentally unstable 'bond' with Troy. Being complicit in killing someone together, and (potentially) covering it up will cause them to become even closer Jake reminded me of characters like Travis who we saw in the Walking Dead too. He was forgiving, weak, unsecure etc. I thought it was way too obvious that they weren't going to have him kill Troy, even accidentally. __________________

What I also liked about this episode was the fact that they remind us the walkers are still threats. They almost lost focus on them due the water problem.
You know guys, many blame Troy for Jake's death but Nick is the one who let it come so far in the first place. He makes so many bad choices, like keeping Troy alive all this time and look how that turned out. Jake died, the man who deserves it the least |

Nick is irritating me. why is he so protective of Troy after all that he's done? because they are both crazy like he said in the talk with Alicia? even Jake knows what needs to be done in this situation. or he is trying to protect Jake in his own stupid way and it turned out to be the wrong way.

OH NO JAKE
I want to root for Troy so bad but he's just making all these evil decisions. I know he is the bad one, but you know how sometimes shows love to redeem these type of Characters? I thought they might go down that route but... However I didn't see his Death coming! And not so soon! Yes it was going to look likely that he wouldn't survive long. Everyone said that. But this soon? Just not fair. Wasn't happy with Troy in this Episode and also not with Nick being so protective over Troy. Alicia and Ofelia were the Highlight for me! They literally slayed it and I am so looking forward to see them in the bunker together leading their People! __________________

When big hairy Dude (sorry forgot his name!) tried to end himself and only had a 'click' and Alicia had to help, was super emotional... dare I say more emotional than Jake's death? Just because of the desperation of the moment, and knowing if you don't end him then and there, otherwise it's a long painful death being eaten alive.
