With singers I also just care about the voice and song texts, not their personal life. I never really ship hardcore on musicians for some reasons. I get more invested with actresses and actors instead

I didn't mean to start a complicated conversation. It's true though that to me an artist is supposed to have similar values to mine. I had a feeling she was a bit fake because of the katy perry diss, the good things that she does are always super public and then she was pretty much outed for lying from kim kardashan of all people. When she got with the latest guy, I don't give a damn about the relationship, but it all seemed so damn public that I couldn't help but wonder if it was all a stunt.
Maybe there's a reason why I like very private artists or unknown ones!

i get both point of views. it's funny with me cause with singers i can always listen to their music and totally ignore their private life. .e.g i like Justin Bieber songs even though i really dislike his personality.

it's a way different with actors. for example i can't stand Tom Cruise and that's why i don't watch this movies (even though he is a good actor). i think the fact of 'seeing' him reminds me how much i dislike him and that's why i can't watch. other with musicians whom i don't see but only listen to.

on another note, Bridget Regan whom i absolutely adore since Legend of the Seeker will be in ,yeah guess which show, Grey's Anatomy! and i swear i was done with his show. now i have to watch her episode. damn :bawl:
