To a degree probably, if they can get alycia back for a cameo I'm sure madison will find a clue at some point showing her alycia is still alive and she will search, bc initially I bet momo and strand will tell her alycia died.

If I had not read the spoilers before I'm sure I'd have believed alicia would be dying in the end, at least until the last scene, bc everything points to it.

I think a lot of her fever was psychosomatic and she needed to find her true self again to heal herself. She had lost herself when she got bit and all the bunker stuff.

I think alicia is going to meet other people who came to the tower once she moves inland as she says herself and she will lead those to a new place and when we hopefully see her again one day she will have founded padre and and it will be a thriving community. I think that is what alicia was always meant to be, a leader to people, leading them into a better future, being their light. Being like Lexa.
That is even what chambliss said, that she's "waking up and going into a new world with a newfound strenth.".

So they literally ended her story on fear when alicia's real and actual journey being on her own is just about to begin, the journey that has been teased since the dave erickson days. Honestly at some point I'd love an alicia spin off, maybe a mini series, but telling her real story, not produced by gimple and chambliss though, but where we see her assume her role as true leader.
