About Madi, some people just love or hate the character. I'm in the middle. I think we saw a better side on the beginning of the show and she became darker season after season. Lately, she didn't show real motherly traits at all (e.g. killing Troy in front of Nick because she lost her ranch). The relatable trait she kept is her friendship with Strand and the loyalty to Daniel.

Actually waited for her to avenge her husband at some time as a surprise, but obviously she didn't care about him anyway anyhow.
