Honestly they were just talking about some of general topics of the series also featured in the book, about white privilege and white people going on holiday in countries with a non white population but usually not caring about the poverty and problems of the locals and laso about gentrification in NY bc alycia's character is white and lives in a predominantly black/carribean neighbourhood.
