Yeah, first they have to announce that the show is getting another season and Netflix has not announced the renewal yet. I'm not sure why. I remember DD was out April 2015 and by May we already know that it's renewed.

They'll release The Defenders but it's still too early to give a date for that. They'd have to do Iron Fist first before The Defenders.

It premiered in June and they didn't announce the renewal until August. But season 2 of Sense8 isn't slated to come out until 2017 which is strange since it premiered in mid 2015.

I guess maybe Netflix isn't going to put out a new season every year for their shows like they have previously.

Oh wow, I didn't know Sense8 took that long and I always assumed Netflix will schedule a new season every year. I guess they can opt to make us wait longer unlike network TV.

Ahhh really, no Sense8 until 2017? that's sad! I was hoping they'd stick to their pattern of never having quite a year between seasons like with DD now, and OITNB but then I guess even though they're all Netflix shows, they're all from wildly different teams... So who knows.

Maybe because they are trying to get so many new shows launched all at once it's just too much? Or maybe IMDB is wrong?

I really want them to stick the new season every year pattern. So I hope this is temporary while they get all their Marvel shows off to a good start.

What if we don't get a second season and Netflix has decided the show will only have one season? I can't wait for The Defenders, that's too far along!
