Well it was actually this one roll top desk that I received for free at a estate sale. It was missing the roll top door so I took it home and took the top apart, to make it more like a simple desk. I just finished it today actually.









Cleaned up the scuff marks today and it looks almost brand new. I'm really happy with it.

oh btw just a heads up. i hate moving lol. the move ended up costing more than 100 bucks more than what the guy told me. now i am almost broke for this month and its only the 11th. awesome huh?

^That sucks, sometimes I wonder about these guys. We moved recently this year too, and our mover guy offered a certain amount of money in 4 hours, 2 trucks, and 4 guys. That was the deal, after everything was finished we were 10 minutes under the 4 hour mark. (we were really happy about that) The guy tried to get more money out of us, luckily my dad helped out with that (I don't know how that man does the things he does) but he just repeated what the guy said, and that was the deal. They shook on it and left, later we found out they had broken one of the ceiling fans at the previous house too. But yeah I can sympathize with you on that.

Melanie, yikes! But good thing your dad was there to negotiate. Some of these people always tries to get more money that what is expected.

I have no work today, local holiday. But it's raining so I'll just stay in. I have no plans going out anyway and just want to be lazy all day today.

yeah I saw today that they broke something of mine too. and I didnt go through all of my stuff yet. you are lucky your dad is great with handling stuff like that. I just looked at that guy weirdly, cursed under my breath and paid lol

Our weather has been weird here. It's hot and then it's raining. It's typhoon season on Southeast Asia so most of the time it's raining. This weather will probably go on until December.
